PWL PAT UK tests and services all types* of fire extinguisher, including water, powder, CO2, foam and wet chemical, to British Standard BS5306, providing assurance that your extinguishers meet the requirements of all insurance companies. Failing to have your fire extinguishers maintained places you in violation of Health and Safety and Local Authority guidelines as well as National and European legislation. It may also place you in breach of the terms of your insurance cover, invalidating any claim you might make. PWL provides periodic fire extinguisher servicing, involving inspection and maintenance of the gauges, moving parts, tubes, valves, and operating mechanisms of each unit, as well as checking for exhausted extinguishers, and ensuring that anti-tamper tags are in place and the units are in physically sound condition.
